Exciting Opportunity for English/Chinese speaking Drupal/LAMP Developer

Requirements

Two to five years of web development experience. Proficient in PHP and MySQL. Familiar with Javascript and CSS. Experience with revision control systems such as CVS or Subversion. Involvement in the open source community. A disciplined approach to coding techniques and software maintenance. The successful candidate will also display an understanding of the interplay between business needs and software requirements. Project
and general management skills will also be highly valued.

The successful candidate will be a native Chinese speaker with permission to work in Beijing who is happy to operate in a mixed English/Chinese language business environment. All interviews and correspondence will be in English.

The Role

Maintain and improve existing software systems:

• Web Sites
• Processing systems
• Report Server
• Information management systems

Policy and Development

• As we grow, our site and software needs change. This role is responsible for ensuring that our software is not just responsive to corporate needs but also drives the company forward.

Location

• The position is located in our Beijing office. The candidate should be resident in Beijing.
